During vietnam the govt invented info--this is always a danger. Logic tells me bush is right but logic also told most of us Vietnam was right early on in the war. I just dont see containment as viable policy and folks refuse to properly label it as balance of terror with an evil man perhaps a maniac and most importantly an idiot. Saddam is stupid so of course he will miscalculate. Bin Laden i suspect is counting on that too to throw the world into turmoil, particularly after we use are nukes in response to some adventure he undertakes. mike
