So, you don't disagree that
1. Iraq fought those wars with American support (you acknowledge this)

America did provide limited intelligence to Iraq during one war. That does not make the US responsible for starting the war. The only thing you can credit to the US as a result of this limited assistance is prevention of an Iranian conquest of southern Iraq.

2. America started much bigger wars without provocation (you don't even address this)

No, I don't acknowledge this.

3. The region is not cowering in fear any more (you remind me of the crucial fact that Saddam's WMD program is far less powerful now, so why is it such a worry now?)

Neither you nor I know what is in the minds of other mideastern rulers. It's certainly plausible they may be intimidated by Saddam's WMD development efforts, his aggressive determination, and his ruthlessness. Neither you nor I know for certain that Saddam's WMd program is less powerful or more powerful than before the Gulf War.

4. We are not as honest as Iraq (though you feel that we should have sympathy for liars)

Where do you get this? This is your opinion not mine.

Also we don't pay bounties on dead Palestinian civilians. If you want to show otherwise, just show that our aid to Israel varies up and down based on the number of dead Palestinian civilians they produce. Your lie on this score is just a sign of your malevolent anti-Americanism. It galls you to think that America isn't reviled and hated more than Saddam.

Now since I've replied to everything in your post, how about you answering that question you went to such lengths to dodge some time ago:

Message 17881831;
So here's a simple question - is the US the major source of evil in the world today? Feel free to check with Ms. Lowenstein or Noam before answering.
