Scott's voted for Republicans AND Democrats over the years...I look for the best talent wherever I can find it. I'm a registered Independent.

I completely supported the U.S. in the Persian Gulf War -- We had strong Allied support and a real reason to use our military force. Today, IMO its much different. I tend to agree with Senator John Kerry A LOT more than VP Dick Cheney. Lets use a multi-lateral approach to applying pressure on Saddam, lets work with The UN, and only use military force as a last resort. I do NOT believe in pre-emptive strikes to engineer 'regime changes'...I think it sets a dangerous precedent. Actually, there may be a number of Conservatives who agree with me (folks like Chuck Hagel, Brent Scowcroft, Colin Powell, Dick Armey, and Bob Novack).
