Know what, i think i changed my mind. I would cut a deal with him, let him have Kuwait, have free trade with him, share the oil etc. For that he can join in on the war on terror and maybe we can take over the Saudi oil fields too. Oil prices will fall, bin laden will be caught. Iraq will prosper. Eventually he will die and all will be well. Hell he probably has a STD. Cool Beans! The joke is that he might accept this.
War is a serious proposition. The area as a whole may be too disrupted if we attacked. So why fight him at all. You have said all the leaders are pretty much equally corrupt. Is that appeasement? Perhaps. But he is not Hitler and Iraq certainly is not germany. So the three alternatives are lets make a deal vs balance of terror vs Preemption. This sucks. Mike@injest.com
