Hi Nadine Carroll; That is an interesting analysis, but the odd thing about it is that it is 180 degrees apart from the usual neocon analysis, which is that Saudi Arabia (and pals) are against our attack on Saddam because they figure that they're next.

So what is it. Either they're secretly supporting our attack, but publicly condemning it, or they secretly couldn't care less about it, but are still publicly condemning it.

And why bother publicly condemning it if the "n visits from one end of the Arab world to another one finds little evidence of any grassroots support for Saddam", so the Arab Street isn't a problem.
