Seeing all the dangers lurking on my existence, I just can say I am a darn lucky SoB to have survived so far :O) Having managed so far to avoid
a) the big one (CA, Yellowstone ... )
b) some Tsunami when visiting Tokyo, HK...
c) the Armaggedon asteroid
d) (... feel free to fill in)
...is just unbelievable.
BUT, otoh, I probably will not give up my atma without seeing/having to watch/having to play in a real war ("it's man against man, man"). And probably my death will be caused by a fellow human being (DnD accident, a screwup in OR with oxygen and nitrogen, food/water/air poisoning - intentional or "shit-happens" variety, oh my, I tell you guys, there's 5B-1 humans who're after my a*se;)
BUT (again) we're all used to living in civilized society (ng), it's the NATURE, or whatever is left of it, that's still scares us - comes from reading too many Jungle & Jules Verne books as a kid.
