<they want to feed the new Tbred core design changes back into both Barton and the Hammers> I believe actually that it is the Hammer core changes that were applied to the TBred. Hammer was always going to have extra layers (nine? Is that the same or 1 more than Tbred Rev B?) There were also rumors a while back that Barton was going to have some Hammer core improvements, with people speculating about 64-bit capability in Barton. In reality, the "core improvement" that we will see in Barton is the extra metal layers which increase clock speed. Petz
