Feeling your pain, man...that would really upset me. Was there no indication that this is their policy??? I would think a partial transfer would not require shutting down the whole account. It makes no sense. Be sure to call them to find out what is going on. Perhaps they can put in some trades for you...or at least set some limit/stop orders. TC
