In July, Microchip acquired the Gresham-based fab from Fujitsu Microelectronics Inc. for $183.5 million. The Gresham facility will boost Microchip's global manufacturing capacity. I'm not sure this relieves AMD of all liability, but it certainly must put a cap on it. d
