have you failed to notice that the people who scream the loudest about freedom of speech and the constitution have made sure that the children never actual learn the constitution in school ? No, the loudest screamers seem to be the libertarian types who want everyone to leave them alone and yet want all the comforts of a society. Have you failed to notice that the children are not being taught the history of this nation This has been true for a long time. History tends to be sanitized and reduced to names and dates instead of ideas. Since history is the sum of many events happening at the same time it can be quite daunting to keep the details correct. Message 17979258 I know the Texas history I was taught in high school bears little resemblence to the actual events.
