you missed nothing exciting about the cat. my family has land here and i live at home to help take care of it and my parents. the cat is my mother, i'm not sure what my father is. a most particular house keeper the cat is. they've been on vacation and return tomorrow. what with my natural tendency towards slovenliness, cleaning up for their arrival is always a race. but this time there were also peaches, the market and yakking, and a funky mood. but i like a deadline. by 4 p.m. sunday i shall be done cleaning and ready to turn into the driver and head for the airport. have you learned anything interesting about elephants? fog and cold sound pretty good next to heat and humidity here. jp
