Sam, OT *** thanks for the GPS report. FWIW I use a 5 year old handheld GPS sailing on the Bay. No map capability, so I have to refer to a paper chart [that's what nautical 'maps' are called] to see where the GPS coordinates put me. Mostly I have programmed 'way points' obtained by pressing the store button when I happen to be at a point of interest [like entrance to Oakland estuary]. I only use it rarely these days to find out how far from a way point I am and to check speed over the ground. Gottfried
