If you think a bedroom farce is more important than a promise of national support to an entire people - made before the kleig lights of the entire world - calling for a WAR.... then I think your morality is a little skewed. Re: "The US has provided a safe zone for the Kurds and no fly zones over northern and southern iraq for ten years. What else do you believe he promised?" >>> He promised full American support for the an uprising. It wouldn't have happened without his promise... and they were allowed to get slaughtered. >>> You don't renege on a promise of a nation's support... without doing great damage to the nation's (and the Presidency's) reputation.
