BTW, I opened a solicitation last night from the Economist addressed to one of my sons, a newly enrolled college freshman, right in the solicitation the editorial states; "we are not about boring economics or something like that, we are about news you need to stand out in your crowd blah blah blah. Sounded to me as though they've thrown in the towel on Econ and moved to another niche, a news magazine that features business as a way to sell values.
The problem with the Left, is that it's members never grow, they just glom on to the same cliches repackage em, and sell them by spinning newly dressed tid bits out to a world whose heard every line before, excepting maybe college kids who are shall we say, still vulnerable.
Try thinking about the genetic diversity of the US population, and the possibilities that diversity creates, maybe that will divert your attention away from Roachisms, and onto a path of original thinking and new possibilities.
Lastly, being right is important, but it is always a temporal phenomena. So, enjoy your perception of being right while you can, because perception changes at the beck and call of honest debate. |
