CIPH Was up more than 14% with volume around 3x its daily average after the news early this morning about the comments from Business Week. "7:27AM Cepheid seen selling anthrax detection product to Postal Service (CPHD) 3.74: Business Week expects this small biotech company to soon attract attention. The company, which has a gene-based product for detecting biological agents such as anthrax, is expected by one analyst to sign a contract with the U.S. Postal Service in the next 2-3 months. The Postal Service is currently testing the equipment, which the Rodman & Renshaw analyst expects will be in use by mid-2003.
