this editorial from the homepage of SI talks about rydex sentiment, A Contrarian Fund Flow Indicator That Looks Bullish September 13, 2002 siliconinvestor.com Theres a nifty chart in the middle of the piece with historical %-gains in the dow when the rydex numbers hit 1.20 or less. What was interesting was May 97 rydex ratio hit .88, 50% lower than where we are now, that resulted in a 10% dow move eventually. What happened in May 97? I don't even remember that. Asian flu was late 97 I thought, and then LTCM a year later. L
