"There is a rumor this morning that IOMG has a recall on some disk drives (Zip to be specific). I think it is another false rumor. I have a zip and know of no one who is having problems. I am also long in the stock.

The information came from a short position. Anyone heard anything about a recall.
Terry H."

Terry,

The shorts have stepped up a strong attack of vicious rumours and misinformation
campains on CNBC, WSJ, etc. As you probably know, media manipulation is a specialty
of the shorts and their primary weapon, since it is so easy to manipulate the media and get
away with it. Thanks God for the AOL MF and SI interactive forums, otherwise we may not
know if a rumor spreaded by the shorts are true or false for days!

This "Zip recall problem" was spreaded by shorts 2 days ago, prompting IOMG to break its
rule of not commenting on rumors. IOMG went on record to say that this rumour is totally
untrue, and there is no such recall or Zip problems. Call IOMG if you want to check it out
for yourself.

This was discussed and documented in all glory details on AOL MF a couple days ago.
(Guess I should have reposted here).
