'$83 cash cost' - nice yes, but it wouldn't matter if it was $1.57/oz cash costs, if you can't actually build a mine ... they've got to come to terms with the locals, and time is running out on their deal .... whole thing could end up as a cruel joke, stuff of legend, you could write a poem about it, maybe to the tune of Lizzy Borden
.... but i'll have it on watchlist next week, with an eye to re-entry
arq.v - yes, isn't that amazing ... i almost bought some in the .80s, still think it was a rational thing to do
sul.v - i had very few, but already sold almost half, they were bought well so that reduces acb nicely, but what a sign of a chickenshit attitude eh ... we're all like that again though, since the spring highs ... probably takes a clear PoG upswing to change the mood, and even then pure explorers without demonstrated resources or sexy news will likely not benefit, they didn't this spring, many of them
yqr.v - that was me, the greenliner upticking it today, got to the computer and saw i could make it show .21, so i did ... bought other shares recently too ... . they may actually get the Jerooy deal and i hear if they do they are likely capable of financing it, if they don't get it not much is lost, with those claims at Red Lake, market is not pricing them at much yet, and nothing at all for J imho ... their history in Zimbabwe gives me pause, mild concern that they may be fatally attracted to these far-away places with strange-smelling politics, but then i reflect, oh geez Red Lake is in Ontario -ggg- .. [that's a british columbian joke]
ngt.v - that's one sick puppy, isn't it ... i let a few go around .40 there, thought 'well this will make it go up', but it didn't .... getting a little irritated, maybe if management's ego trip is more important to them than shareholder value, it's time to re-think the thing .... got lots of it, nice low acb from original entry a year ago, but a project like Salamandra should be getting far better recognition, only reason i can see for current failure is that it is incompetently run
cbd.to - a lot of substance there yes ... don't know why i don't watch this one more, no excuse
suf.to - this one has been good to me, again for the seventh time or so in two years ... loaded up week of 12-16 Aug .... major cash flow coming, major political risk hanging over it ... but they seem to work everything out, so far, and i think the risk discount will narrow further .... if they had Messina in the estado de Sonora the share would be four times the price right now
Imagine if Manhattan was able to make some deal with the locals, or even got going on serious talks with them ... coming out of the current price range it would give good returns, be maybe a story like Southernera .... your new thread - #Subject-53273 - i saw that a few nights ago ... don't think much of non-metals stories right now, until taxloss time anyway .... but in re your gxy.amex and the veggieburgers etc - we eat tofu here all the time, wife loves it, she's declared it mexican food, marinates it in the garlicky vietnamese chile sauce, grills it with a little tamari, serves it rolled in chopped cilantro, beside fried tomatoes ..... nothing wrong with that stuff at all, i've eaten lots of veggieburgers out kayaking, they keep much longer than meat, so you eat meat the first day or two out, then it's the cattle-feed ... it's healthy, tastes great if you use a little imagination, big market coming in stuff like that |
