You want the US "to be nice"? Do we not hand out more aid than any other country in the world? From where do you think the money comes to pay for this aid, this food all that medicine? PROFIT! So its OK for Canada to sell at a profit but Never the US? Maybe the rich are getting richer, but it is obvious you have not considered why. If the poor had a more free open profit oriented society they too could show a profit! If you had ever bothered to look into international taxation rates you'd find many of the most poor countries have the highest overall % rates of taxation. If governemnt simply leaves people alone there is less poverty.
