As for your other question, about how I'll get any satisfaction when they refuse to answer messages:

I encountered this situation last year, when an engineer from a software company called to schedule a job interview. However, he failed to return subsequent messages, which was utterly bizarre considering that he contacted me in the first place. I wrote to the personnel manager explaining the situation and sharing my feeling that it reflected poorly on their company. A month later I received a written apology from the offender in the mail. Few people are in positions where they are accountable to no one.
