I take it the family doc looked him over pretty good. Sorry to hear about his trouble. I've been hypertensive since I was about 20. Just remember that the odds are way in your favor that it's nothing too serious, and try not to worry. I'm just a new father(my boy just turned a year old thursday), I can only come close to imagining what's in store for me! Anyway, best wishes and hope everything turns out ok! V
