Steve, Based on points 2, 3 & 4, and the "strong" bounce of the "bottom"; CANC had a good day on Friday. +0.05. I'm not convinced that this momentum can be maintained; but we'll have to stay tuned to the far east figures tonight (on Kitco) to see if NY's rally can be sustained.

Back to theorizing; what do you think the impact of Placer's "victory" in Venezuela (denied by KRY)will have on their involvement in Nambija? From one perspective I see cash flow to fund growth and the other I see 20 million ounces less being required in the short term. To continue rambling; if for some reason Placer gives up on Nambija, not because of property potential; but because their first option was realized(victory over KRY), would there be any other majors out there waiting to take up the slack?

What is your predictions for the coming week?

Cheers Winzer
