My vote for Nader was not an anti-anyone vote. It was a pro vote for Nader. If the Dems want to play guilt-trip games and suggest all Nader voters are blind and ignorant, they're not going to do a spectacular job of winning those voters back.

"You're an idiot and your candidate secretly licks Bush's boots, so vote for us" just ain't a winning slogan, imo.

FDR was able to co-opt the extreme left by adopting some of their most popular positions. The Dems might be able to learn something from a guy who figured out how to win 4 times while the economy smelled like rotted carp.

But they find it easier to whine and gripe about Nader, overlooking his record of achievements, than admit that Gore was seriously flawed. I mean, Gore lost Tennessee !

And all Gore had to do to win was to follow Clinton's advice...
