Al > Mugabe's violent, two-year-old campaign to redistribute farms to poor, landless blacks has disrupted farming.

That's complete rubbish.

His racist, "ethnic cleansing" campaign against white Zim farmers has nothing to do with poor landless blacks but is a means to enrich himself and his cronies. The poor landless blacks still have nothing and, in fact, his campaign, by unemploying thousands of black farm workers, actually aggravates the problem.

What the article fails to mention, in fact, is that AIDS is also rampant and will kill those who are not dead from starvation.

Meanwhile, the "do-gooders" will attempt to spread their "goodness" and will try to feed the multitudes with tons of genetically modified, made in USA, corn which, in fact, will never get to those who are starving but in all probability will be fed to Mugabe's cattle or left to rot in the sheds simply because no-one can get to it. And, besides which, what does the corn actually do towards the alleviating the problem? Sweet Fanny Adams.

Have no doubt that the African leaders, under the captaincy of our SA hero, Comrade Mbeki, will proclaim that white colonialism, capitalism and Western imperialism is behind it all and while proclaiming that Mugabe is, indeed, a Saint of Africa, as was done at the Summit for Sustainable Development, will attempt to blackmail Europe and the US into making further cash donations into their private coffers held, no doubt, and just like Mugabe's, in Swiss banks.

Make no mistake, the underlying cause of the debacle is "African Democracy" which was the brainchild of the liberals in the US and the UK and which is an oxymoron if ever there was.

Anyway, the die has been cast and there's nothing anyone can or will do about the unfolding tragedy.
