Two comments about earnings. Seagate in its conference call said that it did basic maintenance on all its production lines except for the 2-4 Gig drives. Since Sun is Seagate's biggest customer, I assume that these drives are slated for Sun. Any thoughts? Is this logical?

Steve Milunovich, the computer analyst at Morgan Stanley, told a hedge fund analyst friend of mine that Sun is subcontracting out production because it can not meet demand. Has anyone else heard this? Also in his PC Expo speech, Scott mentioned that analysts' were projecting $2 billion in revenues for this quarter. Scott never mentions projections; thus he must be very comfortable with that number.

Finally, I have to think Sun's Gross margins are very good because of the decline in Dram and Drive prices.

PS I would be very surprised if Sun doesn't beat the estimates.
