Hello!

Anyone still out there?

Interested in talking oil/gas?

Couple interesting points for testing the Kreyenhagen Shale,
first of all there was the initial test that produced oil/gas,
then the perf, by APC of both top of the K. zone and bottom
of P. zone, which I understood OXY wanted to acid wash and
never got from APC, looks like they must agree on something
and that is they want to produce from the K. zone, And that they
will clean up the well real slow, as not to plug it off, as I understand
it the pressure looks real good, oil/gas ratio looks good, no water.

A couple other reason to look at this zone:
Kreyenhagen is oil-prone and mature in parts of the play area and is
regarded as the primary source rock ,of this group. Shale units in parts
of the Temblor Formation have also been described as oil prone and
possibly mature in some structurally low areas.

Alternative fuel production credit. A credit of $3 per barrel (in 1979 dollars)
of oil- equivalent production is provided for several forms of so-called
"alternative fuels." (It is available as long as the price of oil stays below
$29.50 in 1979 dollars). Alternative fuels include shale oil, natural gas
produced from hard-to-access places and garbage, and synthetic oil and
gas produced from coal. Production of many of these fuels has been
criticized as environmentally detrimental.

Well I guess we spent enough time and money looking for the frigging
point of rocks, you think that when we stumble into something that we
might just give it a half decent look ? We will know soon enough.

Take care
Bob
