steadfast American leadership can affect world opinion We just saw the most dramatic example of this that I have ever seen. The response to Bush's speech at the UN. The opposition is now running for cover. The Democrats keep "taking counsel with their fears." I wonder how much of this is real, and how much is just that they don't want this administration to accomplish anything. That is Politics, you know. They are really getting a "Wedgie" right now, with the election so close. If this vote in Congress spins out until just before the election, the Dems will not be able to push their strongest suit, the economy. Foreign Affairs will dominate.
