Nor could there be if fundamentalist Jews or Christians, who have no concept of separation of state and religion, came to power. Same problem. But the route to power is deemed to be a democratic one not a revolutionary one.

Same problem? Excuse me, the Christian and Jewish fundamentalists don't want to overthrow the Constitution! The Jews don't want to impose Halacha on anyone but themselves, and I don't even know if Protestant fundamentalists have an official "Christian law" -- Christianity as a religion grew up separated from the state. This is not at all the "same problem" as Islamic groups who openly plan and hope to convert their host countries to Islam and Shari'a. Tell me, why do you treat Islamism with such sensitivity but feel free to abuse Judaism and Christianity?

But the route to power is deemed to be a democratic one not a revolutionary one.

Since you did not answer my question, I'll repeat it:

There's not much room for democracy under Shari'a. Does Keppel have any examples of "democratic" Islamist movements? Movements running under the election slogan "one man, one vote, one time" do not count.

Like I said, it's all very well if they come to power democratically. But the more important question is, do they ever plan to hold another election after they come to power? Hitler came to power democratically too, you know. Am I supposed to count Nazism as a democratic movement on that account?
