If there had been one lousy little law suit by one attorney in this entire country, none of this would have happened and the integrity of the public raising of funds would have been protected.

All it would have taken is one attorney who knew what an spe was. They have, after all, been around for friggin' 30 years. One attorney who knew accounting, and corporate planning to file one lousy law suit.

Every corporate law firm who advised public corporations and every attorney who advised accountants all over the country would have told their clients to consider stopping.

BUT NO, you people were dumb enough to be convinced by a publicity campaign that attorneys were bad actors.

And little by little, corporations and accounting firms did more and more that they could get away with, and good, honest investors lost trillions.

And the beat goes on......
