Dan, I must be missing something. I am surprised at the reaction to the Clawhammer delay on this thread. I know its been delayed quite a bit and no one likes delays but this is a few weeks according to AMD.....from 4th quarter to 1st quarter.

As for the 4th quarter release, I always so it as more a paper launch....we're talking the last couple weeks of the quarter. Who's buying chips in Dec. anyway?

As for AMD's balance sheet, the change will have some impact but by no means a catastrophic one. I know AMD has the rep for bungling launches but the more I learn about chip companies the more it seems bungled launches are the rule and not the exception. Whatever. FWIW.
