Mike: As to your points. Taking over a small company in Australia, may not be as easy as we think. I recall some years ago, that I had that conversation with someone in Oz, the conclusion was that a takeover was not likely, although an equity interest was the most likely possibility if some overseas company wanted access.
As to comments regarding OCP, while there is no direct endorsement there is indirect comments from Mercedes and GM.
However the fact that Delphi is interested in working with OE is a huge plus, as they do not mess around with unproven technology.
If you follow the chatter over on Yahoo, comments run the gamut both pro and con. The Yahoo boards is down, as I can only access it using a DSL line. The people over on what is called the Sunshine Board ( the Yahoo Club Board ), are the ever faithful believers in OE. The are currently worked up into a lather saying that GM, Saab V8 and others will use OCP only in large engines, because of problems using OCP in smaller engines. That does not hold water, as the only application that OCP has on the market, is in small engines.
They dream on and on, hoping that Orbital will provide them with riches, yachts and Limo's. While some of the comments are worthwhile, the conclusion they draw are totally off the wall. A "shrink" could make a good living helping some of the members.
I think that the new CEO, offers shareholders the most hope for the future.
John
