And we provided Stalin a LOT of war material back in the '40's. Maybe we should only side with angels, but there aren't too many of them around. Should the absence of angels be a reason to let the Hitler's of the world prevail? Well that raises a good question. Who was worse? Stalin or Hitler? I read something about Churchill a few months ago; he pondered whether we slaughtered the wrong pig. When revolutionary Iran seemed in danger of overwhelming Iraq, we provided Iraq with limited assistance. What is the relevance of that today? I suppose you expected we should get thank you notes for arming Iran and Iraq at the same time? jttmab
