check out this outstanding report on US Credit Markets
then ask yourself if the United States is in control of its own future and fate

financialsense.com

a strong argument can be made that we no longer are in control
of our spending
of our consumption
of our dollar
of our bond debt

sorry for being snotty last week
but I really grate when reading opinions that Americans rule the roost
IN THE PAST WE RULED THE ROOST, BUT TIMES HAVE CHANGED

it is all about debt levels
government, corporate, state, municipal, household
they all point to corrections coming
that has happened to stocks to some extent
that has only begun in the credit markets
that has only begun in the currency markets

read the report for your own sake
part II comes next week, on Housing Bubbles
I believe we are witnessing the initial stages of ENDLESS RECESSION
war, with its unproductive spending and risk premium built into energy costs, will only prolong this endless recession

US Leadership hasnt figured it out yet
but we are NOT in control of our fate any more than Argentina was
we do have more intellectual power, more innovation, more hard workers, more factories, more resources
but unfortunately, more active monetary printing press, more troublesome military, more nimble credit cards, far far more arrogance
not to mention pressured desire to live over our heads
