Who's the traitor?

The article's author is a Canadian. She can't be a traitor to the US.

Or is Stephen O, who posted the article and said it echoed his thinking, the traitor?

And if so, why?

I don't think that 9/11 was our "fault," but I DO believe that it would not have happened if the US had acted very differently first in its relationships with the Arab world and second in following up on the information we had about fundamantal Islamic terrorists. So no, we didn't cause it, but our actions contributed to its happening.

That's the way human interactions are -- very little is clear cut, and the causes of events are often diverse and complex.

Now here's a comment that will get you incensed, I know. I am having trouble seeing what is the moral difference between bin Laden sending his forces to attack the US, and Bush threatening to send his forces to attack Iraq.
