BVF Partners Acquires 144,000 More shares of Corvas International Inc. (CVAS)
DOW JONES NEWSWIRES
WASHINGTON -- BVF Partners L.P. purchased 144,000 more shares
of Corvas International Inc. (CVAS) common stock late last week,
according to a filing Monday with the Securities and Exchange
Commission.

BVF Partners purchased the shares Sept. 12 for $1.33 a share,
increasing its Corvas stock holdings to 4.6 million shares, the filing said.

Shares of Corvas recently traded at $1.34, down 3 cents or 2.2%.

Including the purchases on Sept. 12, BVF Partners has acquired a total
of 290,600 Corvas common shares since the beginning of the month.

Corvas is a biopharmaceutical company.
