America has plenty of resources to finance the regime change in Iraq (if that is truly your concern). Since our government's main priority it to protect Americans, and we take in FAR more than $200 billion a year in taxes I think we can manage a way to get it done (I also think the estimate is too high to begin with).

And you don't even address my point as to what the cost of not doing anything is. If you believe it is zero, then you are a fool imo. I could easily see it costing more than $200 billion, particulary with the example we just had on 9-11-01. What did that cost in real terms, plus the resulting damage to the economy and consequently the tax base? You suggest a mounting debt, I would suggest cutting costs of current tax programs that have less priority than the number ONE priority, which is protecting ALL Americans. The liberals would not allow this because it is too logical for them, and more importantly, would eliminate the silly club they whack over the Republican's heads called the national debt.
