The problem with your statement is that GWB is NOT a war monger and doesn't want a war. If Saddam allows inspectors in unrestricted, everybody wins--assuming that he hasn't successfully concealed his WMDs beyond their reach. If he allows them in and puts restrictions on them, it's his funeral. It's a great victory for GWB. Not quite on the scale of Reagan and the Berlin Wall etc., but close.

We'll see how "reasonable" the offer is when Saddam produces the goods.

It seems to me that Junior George is going to have a hard time playing warmonger in the face of Saddam's reasonable offer.
