Zeev--Thanks for pointing out that Israel was in a state of war with Iraq when it bombed the nuclear facility. Were they in a cease-fire mode?

I'm thrilled that Iraq -correctly-blinked. IMO, there is a role of force that can and has been used for positive gains. I am also delighted that Bush maintains the pressure or Saddam would evade the purpose of the inspections. My feeling is that the world was made safer by threat of war, as paradoxical as that seems.
