Mega-dittos to your comment about Quidel - I visited their HQ's myself in 12-95 and I agree it is a 1st class facility producing 1st class products- Quidel may have had a tough quarter (hopefully not too tough) but I certainly agree that they will ultimately prosper in the marketplace - actually, I would not be at all surprised to see some big moves (acquisitions, alliances, etc.) in the coming months to position themselves for even greater growth than anticipated (40% +, according to Analyst Jeffrey Holmes) I suspect that is precisely the reason they just brought Mr deBruin and their new sales + marketing VP on board.
