This is the crux of the problem. "Land for Peace" in the UN resolutions may be looked at as "land for a promise". If the credibility of the parties making the promise is questionable, then the return of the land is likely to be piecemeal. The largest chunk, Sinai, has been returned. The Oslo accords were about more piecemeal returns. It has failed.

Unfortunately, the nations making the promises can not hide what is taught in the schools and what is published in the newpapers. I, for one, don't believe the promises. I don't believe that any more land should be returned until I do.
