I dont war either but it would seem to me that you must have mixed emotions about cutting a deal that would leave a no-WMD Saddam in power for the forseeable future. I try to put myself in your shoes torn between the fear of large civilian casualties and Saddam retaining power. Just so you know, i really do care about folks living under repressive regimes but i also recognize that if US interest are not directly involved there is little we can or should do. If iraq actually gives up WMD, iraq people doomed for another decade at least under Baath party rule. Mike
