I would like to see a MCI/BT/GTE combination. It would offer tremendous revenue/profit generating potential: GTE's local, wireless, and LD services, it's Cisco relationship, it's BBN ownership, MCI's networking assets, it's LD, and BT's relationship with Telefonica de Espana and the latin american connection, as well as other international links. I would love to own a stake in that company! An uncertainty though, is how MCI/BT would go about such a transaction at this time, considering that their own merger is not yet officially off the ground. Any ideas on whether this would be possible?
