One has to really wonder WHY he hasn't addressed his previous comments 4 years ago, versus his comments of today...$400,000 for a documentary about Iraq shouldn't be enough to compromise a "patriot"..... Karen, I could actually care less about the Ritter arguments but I did happen to watch him for a few minutes on Crossfire last night. He answered the contradictions by placing his earlier statements in historical context. Sounded plausible. But I didn't listen carefully and couldn't repeat it now. Particularly, since I've decided to save the brain cells that would be used for this debate for other issues. My impression of Ritter, however, was not terribly favorable. Way too over the top for my tastes. But that has nothing to do with veracity of his arguments.
