Hi KLP,

Depending on the scope of the thing, $400K may not even be enough to complete the film. You can burn through 400K pretty fast with international airfares, lodging, transport, etc. for crews, several months worth of salaries for everybody from the director to the writer to the executive producer to the editor, post-production costs, etc, etc.

What's left over isn't likely to make anybody rich.

Believe me, I know all too well. :)
