THE NAPEAGUE LETTER July 20, 1997 - Bi-Weekly Update For a Complete Copy - napeague.com
TRANSNET CORPORATION - TRNT: Although I have not had an opportunity to meet with TRNT's management again, I did get a voicemail message from Steve Wilk, its President, in which he indicated that they are well into the "education season" - the summer during which educational institutions add equipment, install new networks, etc. He indicated that they are still feeling some stress from the rising cost of technical salaries, but still feel that they are maintaining their previous growth trends.
Although I have not confirmed this with the Company, I do not expect to see year-end results until late summer at best, with the 10-K unlikely to be available until the end of September. Technical indicators as of last Friday, July 18th, seem to be very inconclusive.
