ACF has an IBD ranking of 99, I believe, and is obviously manipulated.
They are in a risky business, but it is fascinating that a stock with the top EPS rank (check me on that), has had the following stock volatility.
Last year it went from $60+ to $15
Then from $15 to $46
Then from $46 to $9+ (where I said I bought it for a TRADE ONLY)
Then from $9+ to $17+ in 3 weeks
Now from $17+ to $8+

Do you realize that many of us have been TRADING what I call ODOD's and ODOW's. These are mostly day or multi-day "holds" and are bought on oversold conditions after a temporary panic occurs.
The fundamentals are made a big deal of, because they generally underpin the panic at some point and boost the stock price back up at some point.
ACF is a lot riskier and has gone a lot lower than I thought it would, but I don't know of anyone here that has been holding it. I certainly haven't been. It was an ODOD and ODOW, that's all. If it keeps dropping, I may look at it again as an ODOD stock for a TRADE.
Again, nobody has to listen to ANYTHING I or anyone else says on a message board. I am only telling people my logic, as does Bruce, Vet, Tuna, and other regulars on this board. We're all just offering ideas and they're FREE. We're all big boys and girls and can agree or disagree. But we sure have a lot more tact than you do! |
