WesPac Technologies Corp. Announces Merger With Strata Coal LLC

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 16, 2002--WesPac Technologies Corp. (OTC:WPCT - News) is pleased to announce that it has completed a merger with Strata Coal LLC ("Strata Coal"), a privately-owned coal mining business.
The Company will be changing its name to "Strata Coal Company" and relocating its corporate offices. Application has also been made for a new trading symbol and CUSIP number.

Concurrent with the merger, WesPac's officers and directors have resigned in favor of a new management team and Board of Directors nominated by Strata Coal.

Further information on Strata Coal's assets, business plan, management team and corporate strategy will be announced in future news releases.
