"Fire" in a crowded theater. The whole thing may be very fast. Trillions go, go, and long gone. Sort of like Russia on a macro scale. All banks have instantaneous access to financial markets. We'll see. Won't happen tomorrow (I hope). The question is who are the insurers and are they credit worthy? Who is SIPC, and who is FDIC? And what will they do if the system folds? Aren't they the system? Well, I hold some government savings bonds, but those will be paid in devalued dollars (I hope)
