Iam sort of wondering if the stock is dropping and the downgrades are taking place due to some leak of earnings. It is already the middle
of July and I do know AOL probably has a good idea on what they will be reporting. In addition, if the earnings are not that good and brokerage firms have the stock in the strong buy category, their bonus will be affected, this might explain some of the recent downgrades.

Also can anyone tell me why AOL waits so long to report earnings, usually this is the case when a company is reporting not so good earnings and wants to defer the release as long as possible.
