Two years ago LU had about 145,000 employees. Now they have about 45,000. The PAIN! All those people. And most of them had their retirement/pensions tied up in LU too. I know people who held from $300,000 to 10,000. They don't look anymore, and I don't mention LU to them. Its worse now. No wonder there are so many people looking for jobs. Think of the backlash. As for being top heavy. Ha! The people who ran the company in the ground are still there or with Agere. Is LU going out of business soon? A Penny stock. A trash stock?
